SUNDAY IV…29TH NOVEMBER
FAITH (GYEDZI / GYIDEÉ)
Faith as defined and explained in the Book of Hebrews 11:1 downwards, refers to a substance that is not seen, the evidence that we hope for that it shall come to pass. In otherwords, NIV – Faith is being sure of what we hope for and certain of what we do not see.
Rev. Emmanuel Nana Odoom delivered this Sunday’s Sermon.
“Jesus looked at them and said, with Man, this is impossible but with God, all things are possible” (Matthew 19:26) this is the main text.
Human beings have a limit in everything that we do.
With Man, things are impossible but with God, all things are possible. The righteous or the just or the perfect man shall live by faith according to the Scriptures.
Whoever you are, it is impossible to please God without faith. We as righteous are supposed to live by faith.
Offertory, Appeals, Prayers, Preaching, Donations, Tithes & dedications etc. without faith is nothing to God.
The Bible says “Not all who says Lord, Lord will see the
For we walk by faith not by sight.
(Luke 7:11 and Luke 8:22) We measure by measuring tape or tape measure, but God measure man by the heart. In Luke 7:11-26, God measured the heart of the widowed woman and said to her, “Don’t Cry”, for I will comfort and redeem you.
The Woman was moved by Faith that Jesus the Lord can do all impossibilities and he surely did.
Give and do all things by Faith. By so doing, your reward may be more than what you can imagine.
Woman, Don’t Cry! Have faith.
Of Faith, she came from home to Jesus knowing that he can do all things and raise her son from death. Truly, her son was raised from death to glory.
Genesis 15:6, by faith, Abraham believed in God and was credited to him as righteousness.
If you do not have faith, you cannot walk with God; you are nothing in the sight of God.
Enoch, Abraham, Solomon, Hezekiah, Isaiah, etc, walked by faith with God, what about you?
I Corinthians 13:13… Faith, Hope and Love are the three things that must remain in us with Love being the highest of all.
Additional text: Luke 11:22-26 and Matthew 15:22
May the Lord add His blessings to it in Jesus name and bless you, AMEN.
SUNDAY III…21ST NOVEMBER
THE COMPASSION OF JESUS
Compassion could be explained as having a sad feeling for somebody or something.
This message is from God by Rev. Frank Ato Odoom.
Luke 7:13 is the main text, which reads: When the Lord (Jesus) saw her, his heart went out to her and said, “Don’t cry”.
According to this text, Jesus had compassion for the Widow’s deceased (dead) son. He therefore raised him up.
Jesus wept as said in the Book of John, because Jerusalem was going to be destroyed.
When you read Act 20:30-31, Paul wept for three years so that his people may not backslide. Jesus had compassion for those perishing that’s why he came to rescue them.
Have ye also the compassion of Jesus for lost souls, your church, backsliders, etc.
Do not talk anyhow like the worldly people, the unbelievers do. Do not say to someone, “GO TO HELL, I CARELESS” You do not have compassion, you are not a Christian.
- A man and his child were in bed. It was time to sleep, so the man switched off the light. The child asked, “ father are you there?” The man replied, “Yes I’m here” Later again, the child asked, the father responded to assure him that he is always there for him. Then the child relaxed and slept well. That’s what God does for us. He said He will be with us forever, protect and guide us. He has compassion for us.
- A pastor of a foreign church decided to cater and have compassion for the HIV / AIDS victims. He drew them to his church, prayed and thought them to believe in the Lord and have the assurance in Him (God). One day, the compassion of the Lord and his miracle, descended into the church and through the pastor, all these victims were healed and cleansed. Now, miracles just happen as we say, is like food to them. Miracles just happen. It is now known to be one of the best churches in the world.
What is it that when you have compassion, can destroy you in the Lord?
Have compassion – the sad strong positive feeling for everyone and God will bless you. Amen.
Supported Text: Act 20:30-31 and Luke 7:11-17.
GRACE (ADOM)
A message delivered by Rev. Frank Ato Odoom. Text taken from the Book of Hebrews 4:16... (Let us then approach the throne of grace with confidence, so that we may receive mercy and find grace to help us in our time of need).
Grace can simply be defined as an unmerited favour. It is the grace of God that has made us who we are today. Do not boast, for it is by grace. In Act 14:26, Paul and Barnabas were convicted into grace because the people of
I decided for myself that I do not need want any additional children. A time came that I found it need. At a conference in P.W.D – Takoradi –
It is by God’s grace that I won this favour. I currently have three children; two Females and a Male. It is by grace, not by our works or by our strength lest any man should boast.
Let me tell you the Life of Moses and God’s grace.
1. Pharaoh was the most fearful being when Moses was born. A time came that Moses was to redeem the Israelites from bondage. So God called Moses for this.
2. Exodus 3:11…Moses said, “Who am I God”? My family is the least of all. And in my family, I am the least, how can I?
3. Exodus 3:13 / Exodus 4:1…They won’t believe me.
4. Exodus 4:10…I am not elegant and therefore cannot speak out.
5. Exodus 4:13…Lord, give me the words of your word to tell them to believe you. By the grace of God, Moses was able to achieve this and was therefore made the greatest of many nations.
Somebody says his or her wife or husband is not beautiful or handsome and is very ugly so he or she doesn’t love him or her. Remember that it is by the grace of God that you have got a husband or wife. Someone is looking for, even, the ugliest of all to marry.
Read the story of Gideon in Judges 6:1… to end and IICorinthians 12.
It is by the grace of Jesus Christ that we are in touch with God.
Be bold, just ask God for His grace and He will add His power to it.
God bless you so much. Amen.

SUNDAY 7TH NOVEMBER,2004
THE MAN FROM GOD
The greatest among you will be your servant according to Matthew 23:11 is the main text for Sunday 7th November by Rev.frank a. Odoom.
Jesus Christ was 100 percent man and 100 percent God. He didn’t show his Godliness on earth but on the cross of Calvary. He made himself servant so that God will make him the greatest. Jn 13:12-16 explained that Jesus being a master washed the disciples feet as an example for us all. Let me tell you two stories:
(1) A king once lived. one day, his servants dirtied the wall of the building with creams and all sort of dirty things. The choice for the king was to either let the servant (not those who did it) clean it. He himself started washing and cleaning the wall. When one person saw him, he said:oh! The king doing this? He took the part washing. All the people including those who did that joined the king to clean the walls of the building.
(2) A gospel minister who was a Whiteman, traveled to India to deliver the word of God to the people of India. They saw him as an ordinary white man and therefore called him white man. He humbled himself and served the people and was therefore called the respected white man. He continued to serve and behave like them and was called the White Indian. He one day healed the son of one of the major leaders in the country. When the people saw and realized it, they called him THE MAN FROM GOD.
If you serve one another not considering their age or position, your name would be changed to THE MAN OR WOMAN OR THE BOY OR THE GIRL FROM GOD.
We have to lower ourselves in order to be exhalted. Have a servant attitude.
Marriages, friendship, families and brotherliness are broken apart because no one is ready to be a servant or serve each other or one another.
Read these quotations: John 13:12 – 16
John 12: 25 – 26
Luke 22: 27
May the Lord add His blessings to this message and give you the servant attitude so that being a servant, you would be exhalted on high just like our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ. God bless you. AMEN.
SUNDAY 5 .... 31ST OCTOBER
PRAISE, THE PATHWAY TO THE PRESENCE OF GOD.
Psalm 22:3-4...Yet You are enthroned as the Holy One; You are the praise of Israel. In You our Fathers put their trust ; they trusted and You delivered them.
Supported by: Numbers 21:16 - 17 and Act 16:25 - 28. On these texts is the Sermon delivered by Rev. Frank Ato Odoom.
IN Psalm 22:3-4, we can see what the Israelites did that made God delivered them.
They sang Praises to God.
They trusted God and
God delivered them.
Praises draw God from His Abode or throne to your presence or your aid. God really inhabit anf adore our praises. If we say God is Praise Worthy, what do we mean? God is present at where there is praise, He enjoys praises and through that He forgets our sins and deliver us from all our difficulties. Sing praises to the Lord. Remember what happened when the Disciples were imprisoned. What happened when they sang praises to the Lord in Act 16:25-28. Instead of asking for needs and wants, crying, mourning etc, Praise the Lord. He will do more than what you can imagine or think of. Use the weapon of praise. It is the easiest and most powerful.
The Israelites according to Numbers 21:16 - 17 did four (4) important things we must note and learn.
God gave instruction to Moses to gather them because there is power in co-operative, when they were in need.
God promised that He will give them water when they needed, so they trusted God.
They sang praise song; "Spring up oh well"
And the water started coming up and flowing.
Remember they did not ask God anything; they only sang praises to God and their need was answered at the right time.
Sing and say it is well with your soul, trust in the Lord and you would be delivered. Amen.
SUNDAY 4… 24TH OCTOBER
THE VALUE OF YOUR SOUL.
Following the instruction from the Lord about the preaching of the second coming of our Lord Jesus Christ and saving souls, this week’s sermon has been entitled THE VALUE OF YOUR SOUL. This message delivered by Rev. Frank Ato Odoom the Host Pastor, took the text from the Gospel according to Mark 8:36 – 37 which reads: For what shall it profit a man, if he shall gain the whole world, and lose his own soul? Or what shall a man give in exchange for his soul?Has anyone drove a car and thank the car after parking?
Has anyone eaten and thank the fork or the spoon after?
Your answer will probably be no. Why? Because you find it to be insignificant or unnecessary. That’s how the Lord is also. He is not much concerned about what you think is the best you are doing, but much concerned about you saving your soul.
What can one exchange for his soul?
Let me tell you this story. A man wanted a Visa to get a better position in the states so as to earn a lot of wealth. He met a white Lady and told her she should pretend to be his wife and help him by signing his Visa for him so that he can travel and work outside the country. The white lady agreed. When she was about to sign, she realized one thing and told the man, "If you want me to pretend and sign for you, then you must have an affair with me. The man also knows that it is the worse part of sin having an affair with a lady not being his wife (Adultery). The man has a wife too. He called his Pastor and told him about it. The Pastor said, ‘are you out of your mind? Don’t you know that you will exchange your soul for money? The man realized that there is forgiveness if he confesses after. He proceeded in having an affair (sex) with the white lady, he got his Visa, travelled, got a good job, started enjoying life. He got sick and was sent to the Hospital, it was proved that he has been infected with HIV/AIDS. This was given to him by this white Lady as investigated. He wasn’t able to open his mouth to confess his sins before he died. He has Lose his soul.
Where is the stand of this man? Heaven or Hell? He knew it was sin to do that but he proceeded because he thought he will ask for forgiveness before he dies. Remember, this is the only two places for you to choose one: Heaven or Hell.
People may ask you your reason for serving God. Tell them you have a soul. Your soul can only be saved by serving the almighty God with all your soul, body and mind. The first thing you have to think about is where is your soul going after death? Heaven or Hell? This leaves a question for you. The Value Of Your Soul.
May the Lord bless you; open your eyes to see where you are and where you are going in order not to backslide. AMEN

DIVINE ENCOUNTER
An Inspired and Touching Message from God delivered by Pastor David Ofosu of Adonna International Ministries entitled DIVINE ECOUNTER which signifies the Visitation of God.
John 10:10... The thief comes only to steal, to kill and to destroy; I have come so that you may have life and have it to the full, is the main text of the message.
The Devil only come to devour, to kill and to destroy you but the Lord Jesus Christ is here to give you life and in abundant. There are two basic words in John 1:12 that should be the Key foundation for all Christians. These Keys are belief and power. The Bible says whatever that we say and believe and have power in it is what the Lord will do. When you read John 3:8, it says the wind blows at wherever it wishes to go and no one knows where it comes from and where it is going. So it is for everyone born of the Spirit. People will predict your life, remember those people are not God. Only God knows the beginning of your life from the end and the end from the beginning. I can tell you that you even do not know about your life. What you predicts about your life, if it is not that of the Lord, will never be accoomplished but the one of the Lord.
You are the wind. No one knows and will never know where you are going in life. "It is said that a Sickler only live to a maximum age of 24 Years and dies, but today I'm telling you that I know a sickler who is 35 Years with wife and children and still living" You can never be predicted. Isaiah 8:13 says the Lord almighty is our only Holy and Fearfully one. signs and wonders are the basic rights of a believer, that what you do not have, you say it and comes through.
Some people says the Lord changes not, but I'm telling you today that the Lord has a change of mind. Let used the Story of Isaiah and Hezekiah.
Isaiah was a great Prophet. He was sent by God to tell King Hezekiah that he should set his house in order because he is going to die (II Kings 20:1...). At that era, before even a great Prophet can deliver a message to a King, he has to testify it before he sets his way to the King. Isaiah told King Hezekiah who was also a great King. King Hezekiah said: thank you prophet Isaiah, you have done exactly what the Lord has instructed you, you can go, but let me tell you that you are not God! Now King Hezekiah turned his face to the wall and prayed to God. He said: Remember, my heavenly father how faithfully i have served you, how i have encourage the Nations to serve you, how i had been faithful to you etc, i will not accpet this death now. Consider all these my Lord my God. The almighty God at that instant, changed his mind and granted King Hezekiah 15 more years.
My dear one, we are serving a God who can change His No to yes and yes to no. What good have you done that could cause God to change His mind or could be used as a foundation to changing God's mind? Experience what Hezekiah said, start learning from him. Be a beleiver with a vast and extra-ordinary differentiation. Believe not in man for he is not God.
II Corinthians 4:13 says I believe that i have spoken and with the same spirit of faith.Whatever you are going through, if it is not good, it is not from God and comes not from above. WHY? This is because, " Every good and perfect gift comes from above (God). Let the Divine Encounter mean the Visitation of God to you. When God visit you, alot of thing changes. The Lord has no name. It is what he has done for us that we refer Him to. He said, "I am that I am". So if the Lord has saved you from any problem, you will refer His name as Saviour. So as if when He heals you sickness or otherwise, you refer to His name as Healer or otherwise.
Do not let people predict your life for you. When you read Numbers 14:28, it says " So tell them, as surely as I live, declared the Lord, I will do to you the very things i heard you say". So watch your mouth, beacuse what you say is what God will do.
May His visitation and Divine Encounter come to your turn.
May He bless you now and forever, AMEN

THE WONDERFUL LOVE OF GOD
The words of the Lord to His people through his servant Rev Frank Ato Odoom the Host Pastor.
Main text taken from the famous qoutation in the Bible; John 3:16 reads: For God so loved the world that He gave His one and only son, that whoever believes in Him will not perish but have eternal life.
Dear Brethren, God really Loves You. If it were not so, He wouldn't have sent His one and only beloved son to save you and me from the flood of fire (Hell). It is the will of God that we all inherit His Kingdom. No matter who you are and what are you; thief, robber, murderer, Pastor, Bishop, forbidden and etc, He really love and cares for you very well. The Bible says: He makes the rain to fall on both the Just and the Unjust, so as the Sunshines. If the Lord loves an unbeliever, how much more you a Christian? The Love of God is Super naturally wonderful.
In the Book of Genesis, the Bible says; God after creating everything in the world, said they are beautiful and blessed them. Therefore as far and so far as you are in this world, the Lord recognise you as beautiful and loves you wonderfully.
May He continue to Love and Love you more wonderfully now and forever, AMEN.

SUNDAY 1… OCTOBER 3RDGOD’S HEAVEN
A message about the Kingdom of God delivered by Rev. Frank Ato Odoom. With a single text taken from the Gospel according to Saint John 14: 1 – 2 which reads:
Do not let your heart be troubled. Trust in God; trust also in me. In my Father’s house are many rooms; if it were not so, I would have told you. I am going there to prepare a place for you.Imagine how sad it will be if somebody special to you, tells you to leave everything and follow him, and "very soon tells you he will leave you in a short moment, and that you will not see Him again" That is what Jesus Christ told His disciples . They were really sad, but Jesus said an encouraging words to them that changed their sadness; behold, I am going to prepare a place for you in my Father’s House. Therefore trust in God and also in me (John 14:2). This place is HEAVEN. God’s Heaven. Let me give you a short description of God’s Heaven.
It is a very bright place (the sun never sets).
It is full of Joy and Happiness.
There is no Morning or Evening.
It is a death – free place; i.e., there is no death.
There is no sadness, tears, sorrow or mourning.
The walking path (road) is made of Pure Heavenly Gold.
Only White Garments are worn there.
There is no pain, disgrace or disappointment.
There is no curse, crying or betrayal.
It is a Kingdom, a place, a Country, a kind of Universe etc.
It is where we will meet lost friends and relatives or family. Friends & relatives that gave us tears, sorrows and pains through their death.
This is a short description . Imagine and picture it. It is not a place like the earth we are living on. It is a special place. It is the Heaven of the almighty God. It is not that when you hear it, you are there. Prepare yourself for this special place, Repent, be Baptized, receive the Holy Spirit, have the Salvation, move forward, mature and grow spiritually, obey the commands of the Lord and the Bible and be very strong and powerful in the Lord. I can assure you that you will inherit this special place. Win Souls for God. This special place is meant for people who have acquired all the experience mentioned above.
Pray to God to forgive you, prepare your heart and your soul towards the Journey to this special place.
May the Lord help you, encourage and strengthen you now and forever, AMEN.
