COMPILATION FOR JAN-MAR, 2005
SUNDAY IV…27TH MARCH
DO NOT BE AFRAID, HE IS NOT HERE.
In remembrance of the resurrection of our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ’s message delivered by Rev. Frank Odoom with Mark 16:6 as the main text which reads: Do not be afraid,” he said. “You are looking for Jesus of
You can bear witness with me that Christ committed no sin but was charged with sin.
He is the only human or person who died with the most injustice charge.
From the persecutions, we can see clearly that the charge they stood to crucify Jesus Christ was baseless, meaningless and useless. They maltreated him and made him died an injustice death.
The Disciples were afraid when Jesus was captured and crucified; but His resurrection power gave them assurance, foundation and took away their fear.
According to Luke 24:1-12, Mary Magdalene rose early in the morning to the tomb. When she went there, an Angel appeared to her and said, “Do not be afraid, why do you seek the living (Jesus) from the death? He is not here”. He has risen
Romans 8:8-10, if you believe that your Lord is risen, you will be saved.
Mary Magdalene remembered what Jesus told her when she saw her before his death; that he will pull down the
According to John 24:11, the Disciples did not believe when Mary Magdalene told them that Jesus is risen at first. It seemed nonsense to them (ICorinthians
We all have a stone in our lives that only God can roll it off.
There will be always a stone, but keep on praying with faith, it would be rolled off.
Jesus Christ is Risen!!! Risen indeed!!!***
Depend on Jesus now for he is our only mediator between God and us and he sitteth on the right hand of God and is with us wherever we go now and forever, AMEN!!!
***!!! HAPPY AND HOLY EASTER / PASSOVER!!!***
SUNDAY III…20TH MARCH
ALLOW CHRIST TO RULE OVER YOU
A sermon delivered by Pastor Karl on Sunday
If we allow Christ to rule over us, everything will be perfect for us, because the Lord is perfect and wants us to be perfect also.
So why don’t we allow Him to rule over us?
The scripture says if you know how to fight without God, the Lord will not help you, but if you put God first to fight for you, you will be victorious always.
According to Matthew 21:2-3, Donkeys were truly very ugly and thus only poor people ride on them. Unlike Horses, which were being ridden by wealthy people.
Jesus wanted these Donkeys to be also regarded as expensive, most important and very submissive animals, and thus, sent for a Donkey for the Hosanna occasion.
Donkeys are very humble animals, Horses are not.
You may be the Donkey, that’s why Christ came for you.
You deserve to be exhalted because you have humbled yourself for a very long time.
so if we allow Christ to rule over us, we will see His glory.
Picture how people were laying down their most worth clothes on the floor for this poor Donkey to pass on them for Jesus.
Hosanna is a joyful moment which means “LORD SAVE US”
If we humble ourselves for Christ, we would be exhalted now and forever, AMEN!!!
SUNDAY II…13TH MARCH
VERY IMPORTANT THINGS (1…COMMUNION)
From Pastor Obiri Amoah of
John
49 Your fathers did eat manna in the wilderness, and are dead.
50 This is the bread which cometh down from heaven, that a man may eat thereof, and not die.
51 I am the living bread which came down from heaven: if any man eats of this bread, he shall live for ever: and the bread that I will give is my flesh, which I will give for the life of the world.
52 The Jews therefore strove among themselves, saying, how can this man give us his flesh to eat?
53 Then Jesus said unto them, Verily, verily, I say unto you, except ye eat the flesh of the Son of man, and drink his blood, ye have no life in you.
54 Whoso eateth my flesh, and drinketh my blood, hath eternal life; and I will raise him up at the last day.
55 For my flesh is meat indeed, and my blood is drink indeed.
56 He that eateth my flesh, and drinketh my blood, dwelleth in me, and I in him.
57 As the living Father hath sent me, and I live by the Father: so he that eateth me, even he shall live by me.
58 This is that bread which came down from heaven: not as your fathers did eat manna, and are dead: he that eateth of this bread shall live for ever.
59 These things said he in the synagogue, as he taught in
) and supported by John 14:21&23.
Jesus said in Synagogue as he did in
According to John
But he who eateth the bread and drinketh the wine signifying my flesh and blood will not die but live forever.
Jesus is the living bread. And he holds the keys to life and death; there is an almighty power in Him.
Even the witches and their co-operates are unable to take the bread and wine because of the power in it. So if we as Christians are able to eat freely, then it means we are powerful more than the witches and their co-operates.
This is the bread that came from Heaven.
Beloved, God wants to stay in us so that we may also stay in Him and live forever.
It doesn’t take any Degree or Certificate to take the flesh and blood of Jesus. The only thing is to acknowledge and confess your sins; be born again and you are qualified to take the bread of life.
Whosoever eateth this bread and drinketh this wine (signifying my flesh and blood) will live forever in God and God in him, AMEN!!!
COMPILATION OF THE 7-DAY POWER PACKED PROGRAM ENTITLED:
DISCOVERING THE DEVIL’S POWERFUL STRATEGIES FOR THE YEAR 2005!!!
THEME FOR THE 1ST DAY…
THE THREE STRATEGIES OF THE DEVIL
Delivered by Rev. Bright Karikari of Porter’s Sanctuary Chapel Int.
IPeter
According to the Pastor, the three strategies are:
- BIS…meaning; Bind Invade and Spoil / Steal, from Matthew 12:29. This is the strategy number one; that you will not prosper this year and beyond. Read more at Matthew 12:29…
- To cause you to sleep so that he can sow and destroy (Matthew 13:24-25) The scripture makes us aware that no one goes to a mighty man’s house to steal like that unless he first bind him, cause him to be powerless before he steals.
- To exchange for your glory and other good things; especially in the night because he can’t face you during the day. Many Christians nowadays are lazy in night prayers which is the most important time to get the devil out of your way or your life. When the spirit of the living God wakes us up, we ignore and sleep again. This gives the devil the chance to do his exchange of our blessing and glory for his curses and destruction. Read more in I Kings 3:19-21.
THEME FOR 1ST MARCH, THE 2ND DAY From Bishop Bernard Ogyir Asare of
THE STRATEGY OF THE DEVIL AGAINST REUBEN
From Genesis 49:3-4 and Genesis 25:5, Genesis 13:2 and Genesis 27:1-4.
Reuben the son of Jacob got double blessing because:
- He was the first born. Every first born according to their rules, is supposed to receive double blessing.
- He was his father’s and family’s might. All hope and prosperity was in the life of Reuben.
- He was the beginning of the father’s or family’s strength, because he opened the way for his younger brothers and thus all strength and prosperity begins from him.
- He was the Excellency of dignity. He was the most highly respected and ranked that’s why he got the title Excellency.
- He was also the Excellency of power.
- But he did not excel. Why? He went up to his father’s bed and couch and defiled it by sleeping with his father’s wife. Also from History, Cain the first born of Adam and Eve killed his brother Abel; Esau sold his birth right to his junior brother Jacob as a first born because of Porridge; Saul the first King also failed. Therefore there is a curse on all first born. But the good news is that, Jesus Christ the first born of God and also in the New Testament did not fail; therefore you will also not fail!
Reuben was cursed also because (Genesis 49:4), (Genesis 35:21-22 and I Chronicle 5:1-2).
It was the strategy of the devil for Reuben was to lose his glory…Matthew 1:1-17 and Eccl. 18:5-7
THINGS TO FORSAKE TO CLAIM YOUR GLORY & BLESSING
3rd Day’s Message Title by Rev. Bright Karikari
Songs of Solomon 2:15…catch the foxes, the little foxes before they destroy the vines.
There are some two major things that cause destruction and retrogression to our lives because we do them. The Bible term these as FOXES.
These are:
1. Pride – James 4:6. The price of pride is pre-mature death, bad or unfortunate life ending. God opposes the proud, but gives grace to the humble (Philippians 2:4)
Pride means Self Exhaltation. According to II Chronicle 26:4-5, 15-16, pride goes before destruction.
