SUNDAY III…18TH DECEMBER

THE FEAST OF THE TABERNACLE

Two lessons delivered on this Sunday: one about the marriage ceremony which was taken from the book of Ecclesiastes 4:9-12 and according to it says that two are better than one. This is because when one fall he will be lifted by the other and resource together build up the home than just one resource and thus three cord stands better than one or two; meaning the wife, the husband and God stands prosperous in life than the man and the wife only.

The second lesson about Christmas in which the text was taken from the book of Isaiah 9:1-7 and supported by Luke 2:11.

Isaiah 9:6… how can God become a baby? Mary was underage that is 16years; in Ghana here we could say God had broken the law for allowing the Saviour to be born by an underage girl. But the point through which no argument was made is that someone (Joseph) had already pledged to marry her so through her pregnancy to delivery, there was no law – breaking so the Bible declared that a son is going to be given and a child is to be born….Isaiah 9:6

God became a baby so that we can become equal with Him and approach Him and be saved. Christ was born in Bethlehem. He needs to be born twice: His biological birth and also in our life. So that is why

we celebrate to remember the day Christ was born in our life. Amen

SUNDAY II…11TH DECEMBER

HAVING A WINNING MENTALITY

A sermon delivered by Rev. Frank Hackman of Holy Fire International Church – Cape Coast Branch. Main text was taken from the Book of Hebrews 12:2….looking unto Jesus the author and finisher of our faith……

How a man thinks is what he tends to be. Whatever that the mind / brain accepts is what all the parts of the body will accept. Why? This is because the mind controls the body.

Before God blesses you, He has to observe that you have acquired a lot of experience to endure the blessing. You can never endure if you have not seen the enjoyment. Whatever that you are going through, keep quit and endure because it is experience that the Lord is given you and at the right time the blessings will follow. Focus on the joy set for you by the Lord.

Jesus wasn’t looking at the problem or death he was going through, but the resurrection and exaltation he will get after His endurance. Though people may be teasing and saying all manner of evil against you, do not focus on that but endure and at the end they themselves will say: this man/woman that wasn’t anybody, look at how he/she has been? Your enemies just look at your shame but not your joy.

Let the past become your past because the Lord is doing something new. Losers discuss problems but winners discuss opportunity. Your words decide the future for you. Do not criticize or complain or take criticizers as your friend; they will infect you with it. They always fail and lose because they focus on their weakness.

The blessing of the Lord won’t come on us if He (God) thinks about our weakness. Work at your blessing. Take every opportunity serious because they come but once.

Every family has a record; in bad sense like in some families the ladies do not get better husbands and those who false to get lose them and etc. you will break the record in your family shout Amen in Jesus name? Because you have a winning mentality.

You will die but your memories will be remembered according to your good deeds.

Numbers 13:20-26 & 26-30… we are well able to possess

According to the text above, twelve people went to explore the land; ten people brought bad report about the land and only two brought positive report, which is solution to the problem. They were Joshua and Caleb. When you give the devil you attention, he will also give you his direction.

We must see things the way they are not the way we are. Be yourself, do not compete with others. Magnify your solution not the problem. Create your own happiness and encourage yourself in the Lord. Do not believe what people think you are but what the Lord think you are. Happiness is feeling good about yourself. AMEN

SUNDAY I…4TH DECEMBER

LET THY SERVANT GO!!!

Let thy servant go first because I have the word of God for you. A sermon ministered by Rev. Frank Ato Odoom with main text taken from the First Book of Samuel 9:27 which reads:

Supported by Genesis 13:14-18, I Samuel 9:27 and Hebrew 12:12-17

If you do not let your servant go first, you would not hear the voice and word of the Lord.

According to I Samuel 9:15-17 the Lord told Saul that He will send him a man from the Land of Benjamin who will be the new King of Israel, that he will save the people of Israel and that man was Samuel but before then, Samuel had to let his servant go ahead of him in order to hear this message.

Genesis 13:14-17…before God called Abraham, he was Abram. He did not hear from the Lord when Lot and other servants were with him, until he let them go. LOT means COVERING so Lot was covering Abraham’s glory. When Abraham separated from Lot and other servants, he heard the voice of the Lord and received his blessings. Read the text Genesis 13:14-17.

You would be asking what servants are you to let go off your life.

Anything that prevents your glory, blessing and communication with the Lord are your servants and unless you let them go before you can hear the word or voice of the Lord and be blessed and prosper.

A lot of people have problem of ANGER (DO IT NOW AND REGRET LATER). Let out the anger in your life. Would it be possible not to wrong anybody?

Anger is not of the Lord; send it back to the sender.

SERVANTS TO LET THEM GO OFF YOUR LIFE

Genesis 13:14-17, Abraham let away Lot and other servants and the Lord gave him his heart Desire.

Hebrews 12:13, Bitterness. Let bitterness out of your life lest you fall from the grace of the Lord. Bitterness is like and Anchor, so long as you let it stay, you will not move forward in life.

Fornication let it go because we are in a judgment generation now. The Lord is judging us of whatever we are doing now.

Drinking and Smoking. A lot of women even drink and smoke more than men do. The scripture is saying it is wrong to do that because the Lord hate and will not prosper you if you do not let them out of your life.

Gossiping. Time that we can use to create resourceful things, a lot of us spend it talking and criticizing about others and comparing their life to other people’s life. You will not prosper if you continue to do these things.

The Lord is telling us to let away all servants in our life and He will bless and prosper us now and forever in Jesus name, AMEN!!!
