THEME:                     CHANGE OF RULES

Rev Frank Delivered this message. The history of Basketball was used as an example which explained that a player lacking ball for almost full time in the game, caught the ball, ran into the goal pole, people shouting; that’s not how we play it, he continued and threw the ball with his hand into the goal. People shouted goal, it is the referee’s decision everybody is waiting. The referee noticed how fantabulous the player scored the forbidden goal. He said this is the right goal, so whistled for goal. The player has changed the rules of the game and basketball is now played with the hand.

When you are facing problems, until you get up or rise to your feet and break the rules of the problems, you will never conquer the problem. It is through Prayer that you can change or break these rules.

You were supposed to be the house wife, why are you now the house maid?

You deserve to be a ruler, why are you a servant?

The Managerial position was set by God for you, why are you the worker instead?

You owned the store, why are you now employed in the store?

Break the rules with prayer.

Key text taken from the Book of Isaiah 43:2-3 which reads;

 2 When thou passest through the waters, I will be with thee; and through the rivers, they shall not overflow thee: when thou walkest through the fire, thou shalt not be burned; neither shall the flame kindle upon thee.

3 For I am the LORD thy God, the Holy One of Israel, thy Saviour: I gave Egypt for thy ransom, Ethiopia and Seba for thee.

5-DAY CROSSING OVER IN LIFE PROGRAM UPDATE

25TH AUGUST 2004--CROSS OVER RIVER JORDAN.

The Program started on this day very successfully with clear weather. Worship lead by Evan. Owusu Bempah and Praises by Bro. Nat. Affran.The Singers Ministered a song entitled "Ono na okasa(If He talks-God" which was lead by Alice Werehene and A solo Ministration by Evan. Owusu Bempah(Matwen Awurade Annim-I have waited upon the Lord). The Sermon was delivered by Rev. Ebenezer Sefah of Refreshing Hour- Sekondi-Ghana. Entitled CROSSING OVER JORDAN RIVER. His text was taken from Joshua 1:1-2..Moses had died and God needed somebody to replace Him. Joshua was chosen but he decided to complain because he taught he was not the right person. The Lord explained everything to him. His Mission was to lead the Israelites to cross over the Jordan River. Joshua was convinced and made a step towards this mission which yielded joy to him and the Israelites. This is a real life experience; that it does not matter your stature or position, the Lord can use you to do Great things beyond your imagination. Listen to God and do as He says and you will end up with joy as it happened to Joshua and the Israelites. Amen.

THURSDAT 26TH - HOW TO CROSS OVER

Continuing from the book of Joshua, we  learnt how to cross over i  life. A message from the same rev. minidster. There are three kteys that is taken to cross over in life. These keys are:

1. Surround your self with good people. There is a saying that: Show me you friend and I will show you your character". When you walked with smokers, you smell smoke, when u walk with drunkards, u smell the scent of a drunkard. Also when you walk with good and victorious people, u always succeed in everything that u do.There are 4 groups of friends; 1-Addition friend..a friend who add value to ur life. 2-Minus Friend..a friend who always collect from u without giving u something. 3-Multiplication Friend...Afriend who multiplies the value of your life.(Best of All). 4-Division Friend...A friend who cause division to all the people u know.

1. Have Dreams & Visions. Have Dreams and Visions and say and practice things that does not exist so that the almighty God will bring it to pass. If u want car forinstance, u have to behave like a person with a high class car. And I bet u the Lord will grant u your heart desire.
2. Depend & Trust In God.  Put all your trust in the Lord and bear in mind that come ought may, the Lord will surely bless u. Esther used these keys and crossed over the Palace to redeemed the Jews. This means that whatever may arise, either good or bad; take it and by so doing, u will open a smooth path for yourself and others to follow. God Bless you; AMEN.

FRIDAY - 27TH  - CHANGE...MAKING A MOVE

Change is a good aspect that must cover every aspect of our life: 1.. your attitude etc. 2..Mental dignity- everything about you must be changed to positive ( Romans 13:11..The hour has come for u to wake up from your slumber, because our salvation is nearer...)

Key Text from the Book of Joshua 1:8-11..Do not let this Book of Law depart from your mouth; meditate on it day & night so that u may be careful to do everything written in it. Then u will be prosperous and successful. Have I not commanded u? Be strong & courageous. Do not be terrified; do not be discouraged, for the Lord your God will be with u wherever u go. 10) Joshua ordered the officers of the people; Go through the camp and tell the people, Get your supplies ready. Three(3) days from now u will cross the Jordan here to go in and take possession of the land the Lord your God is giving for your onw.  Change for positive is very very important for making every move that is expected of you. You do cannot sit down and cross over in life. Wake up(Rom 13:11), the time has come for you to succeed and prosper in life, mature and make better movement, but all needs change for the better. The Bible says consider the ways of the Ant and be wise. Consider these messages and Cross over in Life. AMEN.

SUNDAY - 29TH THE LAST DAY OF THE CROSS OVER PROGRAM

The Program ended on this sunday. It was just like in heaven. Joyful songs, Touching messages, Encourageable testimonies and etc. It was really a day to remember. The message came from Rev. Ebenezer Sefah of Refreshing Hour Ministries. Which was entitled: THE HAND OF THE LORD. Text from Nehemiah 2:2 - 8...and the King granted my request according to the hand of God upon me. When the Hand Of God is upon you, whatever u do will succeed, wherever u go, people will admire your importance and the glory of God on u. Any step that u take provided its a good step, shall surely end up well. All these are backed with faith and belief, the scripture says without faith, no one can please God (Heb. 11:1..what is faith..). When the Hand of God come to; a lot of things u have never done before come to pass. E.g: When the hand of God came to Ezekiel, he commanded the dry bones to come to life and it came to pass. When the hand of God came to Mary, she was able to concieve and gave birth to a Saviour without any men intevention. All these did not just came, but because of something. Nehemiah was very faithful and obedient to God and the King, and therefore God allowed his request to be granted successfully. Mary also remained faithful and virgin and through Her our Saviour was born. You see, if u serve God with true heart, mind, body and soul, and obey His commandment as required of u, His hand will surely come to you. And when the hand come to you, you will not believe its you. Miraculous and Wonderful things will happen in your life. Give it a try, and you will never regret it.The Bible says consider the ways of the Ant and be wise. EASTER / PASSOVER CONFERENECE

THE DEATH & RESSURECTION OF JESUS CHRIST.

THE FIRST DAY OF THE EASTER CONFERENCE
Christian Growth Church's Easter conference in remembrance of the death of our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ commenced 9th April,2004 at 7:00pm - 9:30pm. It was themed: THE BENEFITS OF FASTING AND PRAYERS.
The sermon was delivered by Pastor Joe Crentle
of New Testament Bible Church. He themed his message: GOING THE EXTRA MILE which was taken from the gospel according to Matthew 5:41 and sub-verses; Luke 17:1...,Matt. 17:21, and Isaiah 58:1... . He talked about the parable of the farmer whose plants yielded no fruits after three years of growth which was given another one year to repent, and the four Men who were concerned about their brother's sicking and therefore destroyed the roofing in order to let Jesus see the sick man and heal him. He also showed four(4) characters of each christian should adopt from the four Men. Three of them being:I-They were Men concerned for others. II-They possessed the spirit of co-operation. III-They set their priorities right. The Church Singers also ministered a song entitled: "Ao mekra hyira Awurade" which was sung by Naomi Werehene. Organist- Ben Essel and Drummer- Ben Werehene(Benrock). The Head Pastor is called Rev. Frank Ato Odoom of Atlast Electricals.

ON THE 2ND DAY OF HIS DEATH
A message to strengthen us even at the time our Lord is about to ressurrect. This was delivered by the servant of God: Nat. Afram..also a worship and praise singer and leader. He themed his message: " YOUR HAIR SHALL GROW AGAIN", a message about Samson which was taken from the book of Judges 16:23-30 and supported by Micah 7:8. The message tells us that the Lord will trample our enemies under our feet and cause the to destruction. Samson said" Oh Lord, remember me". and the Lord truely remembered him and gave him the last strength to destroy the Philistines by pulling down the Pillars of their Cult. IICor.10:5 says as wide as the distance from the heaven to the earth, so is the knowledge of God above all things. The lord will send down FIRE to destroy your enemies....Luke 17:29 and Luke 19:27. Tomorrow being His ressurection will be very "fantabrutus". The update will be brought to you. MAY GOD RICHLY BLESS YOU.
     
   GOOD FRIDAY.....3RD DAY OF THE CONFERENCE
Church Service in remembrance of the death and the ressurrection of our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ camed up in the morning. The Theme for the day ( Good Friday ) was EASTER OR PASSOVER delivered by rhe host Pastor Rev. Frank Ato Odoom.
Our Bible readings were taken from the gospel according to Saint John 19:16-20 and John 19:28-30
Main quotations were Ex.12:23/John 1:29/Rom.5:8/Act 12:4 and Hebrews 9:24-28. The message was about the history of EASTER OR PASSOVER. A lot of themes came from the history.
Some of them being: "SHOULD A CHRISTIAN CELEBRATE EASTER OR PASSOVER?".....Act 12:4/Ex.12:23.

THE RESSURECTION DAY....THE FINAL DAY OF THE
CONFERENCE.

  Sunday marked the final day of the Easter conference in remembrance of the death and ressurection of our Lord and saviour Jesus Christ.
The final message was delivered by the head pastor
Rev. Frank Ato Odoom. He entitled the message:
I HAVE SEEN THE LORD. His main text was taken from the gospel according to saint John 20:18 and supported by other verses which are: Luke 7:11-17
John 11:38-44...John 5:24...John 2:19-21
and John20:11-21. I have seen the Lord as said by Mary Magdalene shows us that it is time for us
also to see our Lord even as He is risen from the death and ascended into His Father's Right hand.
Praise and Worship was led by Bro. Nat Afram.
Two people ministered songs of praise; Evng. Owusu Bempah and Sis. Charlot. Also, the Church
Singers(CHRISTIAN GROWTH SINGERS) also Ministered
a song entitled: " Barima Yesu". Signifying the joy Jesus Christ has given them through His death.
